My Home in ATO

On March 1-2 the team and volunteers of Orphans Ministry “My Home” visited the Ukrainian military in Artiomovsk. The reason for the visit was to support the guys from the 30th mechanized brigade of tank battalion with their presence, detergents and personal care products, as well as various useful treats.

They were joined by educators and parents from Kherson kindergarten #7 who wanted to help our defenders and gathered sweets, medicines and warm clothes for the participants of ATO. Volunteers also brought electronic slates and communication means.

Our military were very happy to see the guests, the team and volunteers in their turn plunged into the “military life” for 2 days, visited dugouts and even drove a tank.
Completion of the trip was a visit to a local Protestant Church (Pastor Viacheslav), during which 50 gifts “Samaritan’s purses” were transferred for children from ATO and low-income families in order to somehow bring joy to those who have experienced so much grief not typical for children lately…
