We are very grateful to the Head of Kherson Regional State Administration (governor of Kherson region) who, despite his busy schedule, agreed to meet with our team this morning.
From the conversation with Yuri Gousev it was clear that he is not interested in temporary political success, but he is really determined to make every effort to ensure long-term positive changes and significantly improve the level of social services in our region.
Agenda of the meeting was the following:
- To create interagency working group on implementation of the national DI (deinstitutionalization) reform;
- To make decision and appoint Yuri Marinchak, executive director of My Home, as governor’s advisor on matters relating to protection of children’s rights and families.
