On December 13 of this year, “My Home” has organized a series of workshops for parents on current issues in education and upbringing. Alexander Vyalov was the author and presenter, he’s also a teacher, teacher-trainer, founder of private Christian school “The beginning of wisdom”, the pastor of “Living Hope” church, the author of the book “The pundits of God” and video tutorials “The Bible in experiments” on You Tube.

With the onset of cold weather Ukrainian army is trying to insulate its positions. With this purpose “My Home”  handed 6 cubes of wooden boards to the soldiers for insulation of dugouts.
We want the cold of war to end so much and the warmth of God’s love to melt the hearts of all the participants of military activities …

CF “My Home” together with the company “I’M FAMILY” had a family weekend for our parents from October 24 till October 26. It was a time of rest, romance, fun, games, and a bit of training. A romantic candlelight dinner became the culmination of the weekend and the most touching and sensual event was the ceremony of marriage covenant renewal… Everything can not be described in words… but some of the participants tried to do it.

Today in Ukraine there are many families who, because of military operations had to leave the area of ATO. “My Home” Foundation has decided not to stay away, and for several months is actively engaged in assistance to refugees. During this time, 60 families were accommodated; food aid and basic necessities for them were provided as well.

his year our friendly family of “My Home” was supplemented by nine children. Six of them have taken refuge under the wings of foster care and there of them, being adopted, received new names from loving moms and dads.

Dear Parents, In this letter we’d like to share some plans of “My Home” for this year and try to improve communication with you and give you clear understanding of the person you should contact if you have this or that problem. In addition, we have an offer to share what we have with those who need it.

Dear Parents! On October 17-19, 2014, especially FOR YOU, there will be a «Family weekend» on the base of Tavria Christian Institute (Kherson).

Family vacation is like a stop, where you are able to think about what was before and what to do next. It’s a unique combination of relaxation and effective training for couples, during which the participants will not only have a good time but will be able to feel the inner world of their second halves much deeper, set goals for next year together, learn from the positive experience of other families, as well as renew their relationship.

Since June 2014, KRCF “My Home” along with non-indifferent organizations and individuals in Kherson has been actively involved in helping refugees from the area of ​​ATO. For all the time of working in Kherson, as of August, 55 families were accommodated.

Tsyurupinsk orphanage.
We had a lot of fun, sang songs, played games and talked about

God’s love for every person. Also the children made a skit about

Christ’s love all by themselves!

On January 15, 2014 children growing up in foster families in the city of Belogorsk made ​​a Christmas program in a psycho-neurological orphanage.
All the students gathered in the auditorium of the orphanage. They gladly took part in games and quizzes, sang songs and watched a puppet show called “Dream of a Doll”.

Thanks to sponsors, beverage Company MOJO, the children of our Tsyurupynsk orphanage and regional orphanage were able to visit the showing of a new Ukrainian movie “Ivan Power”, which took place on November 8, 2013 in Kherson. 400 paid for seats were gratefully taken not only orphans, but also by children with disabilities from three schools in Kherson and two local organizations. The MOJO Company kindly treated the children with their products.

National Adoption Day is traditionally celebrated in Ukraine on September 30, starting with 2009. It is a day to honor adoptive parents, guardians, foster parents, caretakers of family-type homes, all those involved in adoption and child protection. It is a day of joy for thousands of children who have found happiness in loving and caring families. It is a celebration of kindness and compassion for all Ukrainian society.

September is the beginning of new school year, thousands of students and the students went to get new knowledge and skills. Foster parents and staff of centers of social services for families, children and young people took time to attend training sessions, organized by the “My Home”.

Almost one-third of May, from 22 to 31, the Southern region (Simferopol, Kherson, Nikolaev) hosted a training organized by “My Home” foundation. More than 150 people – parents, social workers, believers and non-believers, ministers and concerned individuals were able to acquire new knowledge on the topic “Working with children, taking into account the impact of trauma: how to create an environment that heals”. Ruby and Lynn Johnston, speakers of the International Center for Leadership and Development, shared their experience and knowledge, we can say traditionally.

On May 30 there was a graduation party for our friends – children of Tsyurupynsk orphanage. This year, 18 vivid personalities leave the pages of the orphanage’s history, leaving a significant mark. We believe that God has a special place in life for each of them, because He has rewarded them with talents and abilities.

On July 27, 2013 our colleague, Katerina Glazykina, visited the III International Conference dedicated to the needs of children with disabilities, “Give a hug – don’t let go”. The purpose of the conference was to show people how to focus on abilities of a person rather than his limitations.
